August 2017 - Saint Jude
We have spent the last two weeks at Saint Jude an orphanage managed by Brother Elio a Comboni friar. There are 130 children of different ages. 30 of them have serious disabilities. Before leaving we picked up shoes to bring them. Here is the dift of a pair of shoes to Jacquiline, one of the guest of the structure! The service in the orphanage is to help children with homeworks or to care for disabled children. We brought the guitar and we could do animation and some music therapy for the kids. The blond girl in the photos is Ewa, a Polish secular missionary who has been living in the orphanage for three years and is dealing with these children.
